Maija discovered yoga twenty years ago whilst training as a dancer
and along with her love of movement and dance, yoga became a
regular part of her practice for cultivating self-care and
Maija holds an MA degree in contemporary dance
(University of Arts Helsinki, FI), and is a fully qualified yoga
teacher (390hrs BWY, Triyoga, UK).
My approach to teaching is
sharing, exploring and investigating the vast world yoga has
to offer and I teach yoga to everyone. My classes are a
creative combination of mindful movement and asana practice
with focus on healthy body alignment and breath awareness.
