The pregnancy yoga classes offered by yogashalanw3 are aimed at creating a community feeling by bringing mums with bumps together from the neighbourhood. Mums get an opportunity to share their pregnancy experiences on the mat in a relaxed class atmosphere - we laugh, we cry and of course we do some yoga! Having completed my pregnancy teacher training from Triyoga (class tutored by Nadia Narain) I try to focus on building flexibility in the body, breathing techniques to help during labor and some meditation to help ease off the stress/fears associated with childbirth.
Through this gentle flow class, my attempt is to empower mums-to-be by changing their perception about childbirth/pregnancy thereby helping them to enjoy the 9 months leading up to them meeting their bundles of joy. Join on the mat to enjoy this spiritual journey of motherhood and to connect and bond with the life growing within you.
