Vesna has been practicing yoga for over thirty years. She became an Iyengar yoga teacher in 2008 and spent a month in the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, India. Following this she founded Yoga in Hampstead where she has been teaching Iyengar Yoga. To her yoga is a union of our physical form, spiritual consciousness, our breath and our experience of the Divine. Vesna loves how the yoga postures, quieten the mind, and bring awareness of the relationship between the body, breath and mind. Her classes encourage conscious awareness of movement and breath leading towards deeper connection with the body. Of slower pace but still strong and dynamic, the slower and mindful practice cultivates physical power, mental resilience and self confidence.
